Day 1 (Flexible / Suggestion Only):
Around Adelaide (or Adelaide to Barossa or Clare Valley)
Day 1 Arrive in Adelaide and
pick up your vehicle before beginning your holiday. Depending on your interests,
spend time experiencing some of Adelaide's great attractions including its world
class Museums and Galleries. Explore the beautiful parks and vibrant markets around
the CBD and Torrens River . A popular activity is to drive or take the vintage
tram to Glenelg and unwind on one of Adelaide's most popular beaches. Alternatively
if you are a wine connoisseur (or not) choose to spend the day and night in the
famous South Australian Wine Regions of the Barossa or Clare Valleys.

Day
2 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Adelaide to Robe
(or Mount Gambier)
Day 2 is a relaxing day driving to Robe
or Mount Gambier, As
you leave Adelaide you have the option to explore the scenic Adelaide Hills with
its beautiful landscapes and historic villages amongst Australia's oldest wine-producing
region. Spend as much or as little time as you like depending on your interests.
As you continue your journey you will pass beautiful Lakes Albert and Alexandrina
and then follow SA's beautiful coastline (Coorong National Park) with its stunning
scenery, fabulous lookouts and abundant birdlife. Stroll along the beaches and
jump on the Granites (rock formations resembling whales). As you get close to
Robe explore the newley established Mount Benson wine region (with its Coonawarra
style soil and climate). Spend the night in Robe or you may prefer to explore
SA's Limestone Coast around Beachport and spend the night Mount Gambier.

3 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Robe (or
Mount Gambier) to Warnnambool (or Portland)
Day 3 Spend your
day exploring the stunning attractions along SA's South East and Victoria's South
West. Explore some of the 16 extinct volcanoes including the impossibly blue Blue
Lake at Mount Gambier. The region south of Mount Gambier is a world-renowned diving
and snorkelling mecca amongst Limestone Lakes & Caves. Once you cross into
Victoria the scenery continues to amaze at Victoria's Lower Glenelg National Park
including Princess Margaret Rose Caves and the stunning walks and spectacular
15-km limestone river gorge around Nelson. Further on the petrified forests and
Seal Colony are must sees before arriving into either Portland or onto Port Fairy
and Warrnambool - The Choice is yours.

Day 4 (Flexible / Suggestion Only):
Warnnambool (or Portland) to Apollo
Bay
Day
4 has you travelling along Victoria's stunning southwest coast. Between Port Campbell
& Apollo Bay you are travelling along a section of the Great Ocean Road commonly
refered to as the Shipwreck coast. With shipwreck relics and tales of sea rescue
located against imposing backdrops of rugged cliffs and rocky outcrops. Experience
the famous Twelve Apostles Marine National Park and some of the most spectacular
bushland in Victoria at the Otway National Park. This park famously intertwines
pristine natural beauty and fascinating heritage and includes The 600m long Otway
Fly Tree Top Walk above the forest floor.

Day
5 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Apollo Bay to Lorne
Between Apollo
Bay & Lorne the
Great Ocean Road is at its most spectacular, perched above the ocean on one side
with lush vegetation on the other, the Angahook State park offers a
great contrast to the stunning beaches and surf breaks with its great waterfalls
and walks. The
spectacular drive between Lorne and Apollo Bay passes through the small seaside
towns of Wye River, Kennett River and Skenes Creek. It is a conflict of spectacular
coast, rolling hills, hidden waterfalls and rainforest. A fantastic day with a must do visit to Erskine Falls and the lookouts that tower
over Lorne and Apollo Bay's stunning bays.

6 (Flexible / Suggestion Only): Lorne to Geelong / Queenscliff or Torquay
Today you will continue
exploring one of Australia's great coastal drives. The beaches between Lorne and Torquay on the Great Ocean Road are some of the best known surf breaks and beaches in
Australia - iconic places and villages that have developed a worldwide reputation
like Bells Beach. Forming a spectacular backdrop to the Great Ocean Road, the
Great Otways National Park offers some great walks. Explore some of the richest
flora in Victoria and enjoy panoramic views in the Northern Sections or discover
cool damp fern gullies in the southern Sections.Depending
on your interests you have the option to finish the day at Torquay or further on at Queenscliff / Geelong . The
region around Queenscliff and Geelong has great safe swimming beaches overlooking
the bay or excellent ocean swimming and surfing beaches around Ocean Grove.

Melbourne
Day 7 Depending on your interests and what time you
are departing Melbourne, spend the morning discovering the Bellarine peninsula
before driving back to Melbourne and exploring its iconic attractions. When driving
back from Geelong you have the option to stop off at Werribee with its ornate
Mansion and the adjacent Werribee Free range zoo (Victoria's Largest).
