Things to See and Do Boat Cruise: An extended cruise through this pristine area will be an experience of a lifetime. Marvel at the whirlpools caused by the massive tides in the area and view the breathtaking scenery. Rugged red cliffs, cooling waterfalls and white sandy beaches abound. There are several operators from Broome and Derby who provide 'live-on-board' boat cruises, or you can camp out under the stars. They will guide you to safe swimming holes, waterfalls, oyster picking havens, bird watching and fishing areas through the Archipelago and further north along the Kimberley coastline. Scenic Flights: scenic air tours are available from Derby and Broome. Horizontal Waterfall: One of the most unusual sights in the Kimberley is the horizontal reversible waterfall in Talbot Bay in the Buccaneer Archipelago. Only Accessible via air or boat (day trip). The massive tides create a waterfall effect which can be viewed from the air. |
