Day 1 Arrive in Melbourne and pick up your vehicle before beginning your holiday.
Depending on your interests spend the day experiencing some of Melbourne's great
attractions and therefore spending the night in Melbourne. Alternatively take
the opportunity to begin your coastal adventure by driving towards Queenscliff
and Geelong. Along the way you have the option to stop off and explore around
Werribee (mansion and/or zoo) and explore Geelong and the surrounding Bellarine
peninsula with it regional wines and great safe swimming beaches (choose between
Bay or Ocean Beaches). Your

2 (Flexible): Melbourne
or Geelong / Queenscliff to Lorne Today
you begin exploring one of Australia's great coastal drives.
The beaches between Torquay and Lorne on the Great Ocean
Road are some of the best known surf breaks and beaches in Australia - iconic
places and villages that have a worldwide reputation. Forming a spectacular backdrop
to the Great Ocean Road, the Great Otways National Park offers some great walks.
Explore some of the richest flora in Victoria and enjoy panoramic views in the
Northern Sections or discover cool damp fern gullies in the southern Sections.Your

3 (Flexible): Lorne to Apollo Bay Between
Lorne and Apollo Bay the Great Ocean Road is at its most spectacular, perched
above the ocean on one side with lush vegetation on the other, the Angahook State
park offers a great contrast
to the stunning beaches and surf breaks with its great waterfalls and walks.
The spectacular
drive between Lorne and Apollo Bay passes through the small seaside towns of Wye
River, Kennett River and Skenes Creek. It is a conflict of spectacular coast,
rolling hills, hidden waterfalls and rainforest.
A fantastic day with a must do visit to Erskine Falls and the lookouts that tower
over Lorne and Apollo Bay's stunning bays. Your

Day 4 (Flexible):
Apollo Bay to Warnambool (or Portland) Between
Apollo Bay & Port Campbell you are travelling along a section of the Great
Ocean Road commonly refered to as the Shipwreck coast. With shipwreck relics and
tales of sea rescue located against imposing backdrops of rugged cliffs and rocky
outcrops. Experience the famous Twelve Apostles Marine National Park and some
of the most spectacular bushland in Victoria at the Otway National Park. This
park famously intertwines pristine natural beauty and fascinating heritage and
includes The 600m long Otway Fly Tree Top Walk above the forest floor. Further
on you will arrive into Warnambool where you can spend time whalewatching (May/June-Sept)
and visiting Flagstaff Hill and the nightly Shipwrecked sound and laser show (bookings

5 (Flexible):
Warnambool
(or Portland) to Mount Gambier (or Robe)
Depending on your interests, today has you exploring the attractions of Victoria's
sensational south west coast including the the petrified forests and seal colony
at Cape Bridgewater and the spectacular Caves and stunning walks around the limestone
gorge of Lower Glenelg National Park. Once you cross into South Australia, you
will continue to be amazed by the region known as the Limestone Coast with some
16 extinct volcanoes including the impossibly blue Blue Lake at Mount Gambier.
The region south of Mount Gambier is a world-renowned diving and snorkelling mecca
amongst Limestone Lakes & Caves. Spend the night in Mount Gambier or continue
to explore the stunning beaches along this coast all the way into Robe - The Choice
is yours. Your

Day
6 (Flexible):
Robe to Adelaide (or
Barossa / Clare Valleys)
Day 6 is a relaxing day driving from Robe to Adelaide.
As you leave Robe explore the
newley established Mount Benson wine region (with its Coonawarra style soil and
climate). As you continue your journey you will follow SA's beautiful coastline
(Coorong National Park) with its stunning scenery, fabulous lookouts and abundant
birdlife. Stroll along the beaches and jump on the Granites (rock formations resembling
whales). Along the way you have the option to explore beautiful Lake Albert and
Alexandrina and the pink salt lakes. As you approach Adelaide you will drive through
the scenic Adelaide Hills offering beautiful landscapes, gardens and historic
villages. A short drive and you arrive into Adelaide. Alternatively
if you are a wine connoisseur (or not) you can choose to head north and spend
the afternoon and night in the famous South Australian Wine Regions of the Barossa
or Clare Valleys.Your

7 (Flexible):
Around Adelaide Day 7 Depending on how and what time you are
departing Adelaide,
spend
time experiencing some of Adelaide's great attractions including its world class
Museums and Galleries. Explore the beautiful parks and vibrant markets around
the CBD and Torrens River . A popular activity is to drive or take the vintage
tram to Glenelg and unwind on one of Adelaide's most popular beaches.
