Day 1: Arrive in Darwin & Sunset Cruise Arrive in Darwin, pick up your rental vehicle and settle into your accommodation. Depending on what time you arrive, take the time to explore modern Darwin and its' surrounds, including Stokes Hill Wharf & Cullen Bay. Day 2 : Territory Wildlife Park & Wilderness Resort Travel 57km south of Darwin where you will spend part of the day at the world class Territory Wildlife Park. A multi award winning attraction set on 400 acres and designed to showcase Territory Wildlife in natural habitats. Twenty six excellent displays including the "must see" Birds of Prey demonstration. When you're finished at the Park go for a swim at nearby Berry Springs before dinner and accommodation at Lake Bennett Wilderness Resort. Day 3: Magnificent Litchfield National Park: Wake up with breakfast overlooking Lake Bennett before heading out to Litchfield Park and spending the day exploring the park and its magnificent attractions. Highlights include the termite mounds, Buley Rockhole, Wangi Falls & Florence Falls. At the end of the day you will know why the locals affectionately refer to the Park as Litchfield-do. Day 4: Untouched Northern Wetlands Another morning waking up over the lake with breakfast before heading out and exploring the Northern Wetlands. Travel along the Stuart and Arnhem Highways to Mary River Park for a unique Wildlife and Crocodile Cruise. Along the way to Mary River ( or on the way back to Darwin) stop off at Fogg Dam and the informative Windows on the Wetlands Visitors Centre. Returning to Darwin. Day 5: Free Day in Darwin A free day to relax or explore more of Darwins' highlights depending on what time and how you are leaving Darwin. Recommended attractions include the Botanic Gardens, Indo Pacific Marine, the Pearling Exhibition, Stokes Hill Wharf, Fannie Bay Gaol, the Museum featuring the Cyclone Tracy Exhibition, Art Gallery and the East Point Military Museum.
