Day 2: Darwin to Litchfield
Day 2 Travel the 140 km from Darwin to Litchfield National Park. Litchfield offers year round swimming amongst attractive and easily accessible surrounds. Characterised by a spring fed Plateau. Unlike Kakadu and other spots in the top end, waterfalls flow all year round at Litchfield. Day 3 : Litchfield to Kakadu
Day 3 An early start travelling from Litchfield to Kakadu, stopping off & exploring the scenery and attractions around the Mary River Wetlands. Unfortunately the wetlands are overlooked by most people as they rush towards Kakadu. One of the most populated biomass region in the world offers stunning views of waterbirds & jumping crocodiles. Day 4: Explore Kakadu National Park:
A full day exploring some of the main attractions of this exceptional National Park. Day 5: Kakadu to Katherine
Another great day explore the attractions in the southern region of Kakadu at your own pace. A really early morning Yellow Water Cruise, (maybe). Head south & experience the great walks around Yurmikmik and a serene waterfall and plunge pool at Gunlom. Leave the park and head towards Katherine, take the time to stop off at historic Pine Creek or stop over for a swim at picturesque Edith Falls. Day 6: Around Katherine ( Katherine Gorge)
Drive the 30km from Katherine to the most visited landmark in the region. Katherine Gorge is carved through the Arnhemland plateau. It is a continuous gorge, running along perpendicular fault lines that are separated during the dry season by rock bars. The spectacle of the river, shear cliffs and rock art make this an excellent place to explore. Photos do not do this area justice. Day 7: Katherine to Tennant Creek
Today you begin driving the Stuart Highway, where you'll appreciate the enormity and hostility of the Australian landscape. Tourism in this region centres around experiencing pubs and roadside stops with true outback character and the hardships associated with local history. On arrival in Tennant Creek you'll find a variety of experiences. including a mining museum, underground mine tours. Day 8: Tennant Creek to Alice Springs
Day 8 Continue your journey to Alice Springs. Along the way you will come across one of Outback Australia's iconic landmarks the Devils Marbles. Day 9: West MacDonnell Ranges

The road is bitumen all the way till Ormiston Gorge and Glen Helen Lodge. Choose from as many of the 9 attractions that you can fit in depending on your fitness level and interests. Day 10: Alice Springs to Wattarka (Kings Canyon)
Spend part of today driving the 450km from Alice Springs to Kings Canyon at whatever time of day suits. On arrival in Kings Canyon begin exploring parts of the shear cliff walls of Kings Canyon with the stunning impact of an Outback Sunset. Day 11: Wattarka (Kings Canyon) to Uluru (Ayers Rock)
Spend part of today driving the 300km from Kings Canyon to Uluru at whatever time of day suits. Day 12: Exploring Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park:
A magnificent day exploring the Kata-Tjuta National Park. Spend the time driving or walking around the base of the rock and exploring the many aspects of this amazing monolith. Located 50 km from Ayers Rock along a sealed road is Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) a collection of weathered red domes who many beleive is even more spectacular that the rock. A trip to Uluru Kata-Tjuta National Park is also about experiencing and understanding its cultural & spiritual significance. Day 13: Uluru - Alice Springs:
