Day 2 : Around Darwin A full day to relax or explore more of Darwins' highlights. Recommended attractions include the Botanic Gardens, Indo Pacific Marine, the Pearling Exhibition, Stokes Hill Wharf, Fannie Bay Gaol, the Museum featuring the Cyclone Tracy Exhibition, Art Gallery and the East Point Military Museum. Alternatively travel 57km south of Darwin visiting the world class Territory Wildlife Park. part of the day driving the 450 km from Alice Springs to Uluru along the Stuart
and Lasseter highways. Both roads are excellent and well maintained. A mid morning
departure allows you to arrive and settle in to your accommodation in a relaxed
state. In the afternoon head out and take photos of this extraordinary landscape.

Day 9: Exploring Uluru - Kata Tjuta National Park: A magnificent day exploring the Kata-Tjuta National Park. Spend the time driving or walking around the base of the rock exploring the many aspects of this amazing monolith . You also have the opportunity to climb the Rock (people with heart and respiratory problems or fear of heights should not attempt it). In the afternoon visit Kata Tjuta (The Olgas) a collection of weathered red domes, located 50 km from Ayers Rock along a sealed road.
