Day 1: Arrive in Darwin & Sunset Cruise

Arrive in Darwin, pick up your rental vehicle and settle into your accommodation. Take the opportunity to discover some of the many Darwins attractions including the Botanic Gardens and the East Point Military Museum. In the evening discover the wonder of Darwin Harbour on a boat cruise. You will experience the magnificent sunset and enjoy the reflected glow over the Darwin skyline (departs at 5.00pm)

Day 2 : Territory Wildlife Park:

An opportunity to continue exploring more of Darwin's attractions, before spending the day at the internationally recognised Territory Wildlife Park. A multi award winning and world class nature attraction designed to showcase Territory Wildlife in natural habitats. It is set in 400 hectares of bushland with walking trails and a free shuttle train operating to link the 26 major exhibits. Arguably the best wildlife Park in Australia. When your are finished at the Park opportunity to go for a refreshing swim at nearby Berry Springs or Howard Springs before returning to Darwin.

Day 3: Darwin to Kakadu via Northern Wetlands:

An early start to begin exploring World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park. Along the Arnhem Hwy you will explore one of the most populated natural wildlife regions in Australia. In the afternoon you will travel to the East Alligator River for the 1.5hr Guluyambi Cruise. before capping the day off with a spectacular sunset view on top of Ubirr Rock surrounded by 30,000 year old rock art.

Day 4: Around Kakadu National Park

A full day exploring the northern section of Kakadu National Park including the must see Bowali Visitors Centre, Nourlangie Rock and the town ship of Jabiru. Drive out to Jabiru airport where you will board a fixed wing aircraft for a 30min scenic flight over Kakadu and the Arnhemland escarpment. In the afternoon travel to Cooinda where you will be staying and explore the Warradjan Cultural Centre.

Day 5: Kakadu National Park - Jim Jim Twin Falls

An early start as your guide picks you up from your accommodation in an airconditioned 4WD. Today you will visit the most photographed attractions in Kakadu National Park (Jim Jim & Twin Falls). Both falls are set in the remote central escarpment country. You will marvel at the awe-inspiring 200 metre high cliffs towering on both sides of the falls and enjoy a swim in the magnificent plunge pools.

Day 6: Kakadu to Katherine

A fully flexible day with the opportunity to explore the attractions in the southern region of Kakadu at your own pace. Depending on what time you leave the Park take the time to stop off at historic Pine Creek and picturesque Edith Falls.

Day 7: Around Katherine ( Katherine Gorge)

Today you will explore the spectacle of the river, shear cliffs and rock art that make Katherine Gorge such popular attraction. There are three ways to explore the Park, bushwalking, helicopter flight or boat cruise. The best way to see Katherine Gorge is a combination of two and this package deal offers you the 3 gorge heli flight and 2 hr boat cruise.

Day 8: Katherine to Douglas Daly
